In this 2-day course, you will learn in detail about primitive reflexes, their role in brain, physical and emotional development and how to identify when they are retained.

We also look in detail at the development of the central nervous system including sensory processing.

We consider the role of retained primitive reflexes in neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia and dyspraxia and how reflexes can be affected by trauma including anxiety, PTSD and C-PTSD.

We will look at issues around learning, focus and concentration and the reflexes involved with all of these issues.

Using a mixture of theory, practical and experiential teaching and working in pairs or small groups, we will identify individual retained reflexes and which movements will encourage those reflexes to integrate and why.

We learn a variety of movements, massage techniques and other movement tools to help reflexes to integrate and build better connections within the brain.

I am a qualified Neurodevelopment Therapist and ADHD Coach and have been working with people with ADHD, Autism and other Neurodiversity for over 20 years. As an experienced neurodevelopment trainer, I also offer other courses to support adults and children in reaching their potential.
