An Introduction to Primitive Reflexes - training courses

In this immersive 2-day course, you’ll gain a deep understanding of primitive reflexes - their crucial role in brain, physical, and emotional development - and how to recognise when they are retained.

Our Introduction to Primitive Reflexes training is held in locations across the UK, and courses are led by Niki McGlynn - an experienced neurodevelopment therapist and trainer.

What will I learn on the course?

What does the training course involve?

Through a combination of theory, practical exercises, and experiential learning, you’ll work in pairs or small groups to:

    •    Identify individual retained reflexes

    •    Discover the movements that help integrate them - and understand why they work

    •    Practice movement techniques, massage approaches, and other tools to strengthen brain connections and support integration

By the end of the course, you’ll have the knowledge and practical skills to recognise and address retained reflexes, helping to support better learning, emotional regulation, and overall development.

Introduction to Primitive Reflexes training courses are held in Berkshire, Bath, Merseyside and Twickenham. I'm open to running classes elsewhere - all I need is a venue that can accommodate 8 students.

If you'd like me to teach near you, and have at least 4 students to take part, please get in touch by emailing Niki@OrganisedMind.co.uk
